As you walk down Rue des Vinaigriers you will notice a mini terrace nicely furnished with chairs in light wood and green fabric, for you to spend an absolutely pleasant evening.
I went there to spend an evening with my friends and absolutely loved it. The bartenders are very imaginative and at the top when it comes to creating the custom cocktails. The cocktails are very surprising and balanced at the same time. The composition sometimes could be difficult to understand but the bartenders are listening and advise you according to your tastes and mood of the moment. Personally, the cocktails are excellent and the aperitifs simmered with delicacy. All served in a neat and comfortable decor.
However few sophisticated cocktails could take a waiting time of fifteen to twenty minutes. But honestly at the first sip, I was baffled because they are balanced, generous and surprising in taste. Prices are reasonable too, around 12 to 15 euros a cocktail.
The Bar is located near Canal St. Martin at 44, Rue des Vinaigriers. Open at 19:00 to 2:00 from Tuesday to Saturday, it is a nice place to start your evening around with your friends, some fresh market cuisine and innovative cocktails. However the place is small and cozy and therefore could take time before you find a spot, especially after 20:00. Nonetheless, in my opinion, it’s worth the wait.
